Lake Nakuru National Park 

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife parks, located approximately 160 km northwest of Nairobi in Nakuru County. The park is set around Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Great Rift Valley, and is renowned for its scenic beauty and rich biodiversity.

 Location & Landscape

The park lies within the floor of the Great Rift Valley and features:

  • Acacia woodlands
  • Rocky cliffs and escarpments
  • Euphorbia forests
  • Open grasslands
  • The picturesque alkaline Lake Nakuru

One of the most popular viewpoints is Baboon Cliff, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes.
