Interesting blog post. A few things i would like to add is that pc memory needs to be purchased when your computer can no longer cope with what you do with it. One can put in two good old ram boards having 1GB each, by way of example, but not certainly one of 1GB and one having 2GB. One should look for the manufacturer's documentation for the PC to make certain what type of ram it can take.
